Words With Confusing Prefixes (in im non)

Over the past few months, I have covered lots of confusing pairs of words. False synonyms, false antonyms, contranyms.  All the weird stuff.  Because I love weird stuff!

But today’s words do not come in pairs.  All these advanced adjectives have a misleading in- im- or non- prefix, which makes them look like they should be antonyms to the corresponding base word. But as you will soon find out, things are not always what they seem!

Watch today’s video to find out about these quirky words, their meanings and how to use them in a sentence.

The 6 words covered today are:

Impudent
Impugn
Indelible
Inept
Inert
Nonplussed

I hope you find it helpful and interesting. As always, comments can be left under the video on YouTube

Until next time!
