Verb Patterns for Preference

Verb Patterns for Preference

How to use PREFERENCE words with Verbs.

We know that we can use ‘like’ to talk about something that we think is good.  “I like apples.”  “I like dogs.” The form is like + noun. You’ve got that! No problem.

However, we can also use ‘like’ ‘love’ or ‘enjoy’ to talk about our preferences for things we do.

But can we use a continuous form verb (or a gerund) after these preference words?  Can we ever use a to-infinitive?

Well, the answer is ‘yes’ to both questions. But there are some simple rules to follow.

Watch this new video, where I will show you how to use the preference words like, love, don’t like, hate and enjoy and the simple rules for the verb forms.
